Today I accidentally found myself at my favorite game shop where for less than $55 I've bought: Baldur's Gate I + II + all expansions, Icewind Dale I + II + all expansions and Jast Cause 2.

This is insane.

On the other hand, BG & ID were in former editions (where appropriate): game, game + 1st expansion, game + both expansions. No standalone expansions. I don't see any logic in this, but, oh well.

As I said, this is insane.

PS: WHY BG II entry is broken? I feel like gDNA is falling apart these days :(

PPS: OH, it's me being stupid again. Never mind.

Many months of play there!
@Argaf Yah, with my time schedule I'd say years even :D
I got recommended to follow you O_o
@moyinator It happens ^_^
Oh that's awesome!

What's ID like? I loooove BG & P:T with a passion, I take heard that ID is "more diablo like" but that honestly doesnt' explain it considering that neither of the above were anything like diablo...

We have a really good similar shop in Melbourne called Dungeon Crawl:

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=dungeon+crawl&sll=-37.884335,145.052437&sspn=0.014294,0.033023&ie=UTF8&hq=dungeon+crawl&hnear=&ll=-37.813997,144.962765&spn=0.007154,0.016512&z=17&iwloc=A

(and it looks like gmaps has little 3d buildings in the cbd that I haven't seen before! woot!)
@snipergirl I don't know much about Icewind Dale, really.

I skipped it when it came out and only know that it's using the same Infinity Engine and staged in the same Forgotten Realms setting.

I hope it'll be much like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights, but I still have Dragon Age to finish first :(
Icewind Dale 2 is my favorite game that was built on the Infinity Engine, while its better than Baldur's Gate I and II, its only flaw is that you prebuild your entire 6 man party and theres no interaction between them. They are personality-less drones you control. However the story and the Areas you explore in IWD I and IWD II are just gorgeous, the music is just perfect. Jeremy Soule did a perfect job on both soundtracks. As much as I liked Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, the whole 2nd edition D&D thing is a serious turn off after learning 3rd and 3.5 D&D. GOD... THAC0...
